Before He Cheats

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

Right now he’s probably slow dancing with a bleach blonde tramp,
and she’s probably getting frisky…
Right now, he’s probably buying her some fruity little drink cause she can’t shoot whiskey…
Right now, he’s probably up behind her with a pool-stick, showing her how to shoot a combo…

And he don’t know…

That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats…
I took a Louivilles slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires…

Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats.

Right now, she’s probably up singing some white-trash version of Shania karaoke..
Right now, she’s probably saying “I’m drunk”
and he’s a thinking that he’s gonna get lucky,
Right now, he’s probably dabbing on 3 dollars worth of that bathroom polo

Ohh,And he don’t know…

That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,

carved my name into his leather seats,
I took a Louivilles slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires…

Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats.

I might’ve saved a little trouble for the next girl,
Cause the next time that he cheats…

Oh, you know it won’t be on me!

Ohh… not on me…
Cause I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats…
I took a Louivilles slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires…

Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats.

Ohh.. Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats…

Ohh… before he cheats…

All-American Girl

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

Since the day they got married,
He’d been playing for a little baby boy.
Someone he could take fishing,
Throw the football and be his pride and joy.
He could already see him holding that trophy,
Taking his team to state.
But when the nurse came in with a little pink blanket,
All those big dreams changed.

CHORUS
And now he’s wrapped around her finger,
She’s the center of his whole world.
And his heart belongs to that sweet little beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American Girl.

Sixteen short years later,
She was falling for the senior football star.
Before you knew it he was dropping passes,
Skipping practice just to spend more time with her.

The coach said “Hey son, what’s your problem? Tell me, have you lost your mind?”
Daddy said “You’ll lose your free ride to college. Boy you better tell her goodbye”.

CHORUS
But now he’s wrapped around her finger,
She’s the center of his whole world.
And his heart belongs to that sweet little beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American…

And when they got married and decided to have one of their own,
She said “Be honest, tell me what do you want?”
And he said “Honey, you oughta know… Sweet, little, beautiful… one just like you. Oh a beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American…”

Now he’s wrapped around her finger,
She’s the center of his whole world.
And his heart belongs to that sweet little beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American Girl.
Oh American Girl.
